The Law Offices of Moriarty and Connor, LLC was brought into existence in 1996 through the combined efforts of Marshall Moriarty and John Connor. Their vision, which remains true today, was to create a Law Firm dedicated to protecting the rights of employees. Since its inception, their firm has represented thousands of employees in all areas of Labor and Employment Law including workers compensation, disability law, unemployment compensation, unpaid wages, discrimination, wrongful termination, family and medical leave, collective bargaining and grievance and arbitration.  

The Law Offices of Moriarty and Connor, LLC currently represents over thirty labor unions in matters of collective bargaining, grievances, arbitrations, and charges of Unfair Labor Practices. They have successfully negotiated over 100 Collective Bargaining Agreements and currently practice before the Massachusetts State and Federal Courts as well as the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the American Arbitration Association, and the Board of Conciliation and Arbitration

In addition to Labor and Employment Law, the Law Firm has extensive experience in other important areas including special education appeals, school law, probate matters, Trusts and Estates, and professional licensure disputes

Their Social Security Law practice is guided by Richard Greenberg, a retired Administrative Law judge in the Social Security Field. They represent individuals who are interested in applying for Social Security Disability or have applied for Social Security Disability and have been rejected. The firm guides you through the appeals process and represent you before the Appeals Board.

In addition, the firm also guides and advises employers in matters regarding social security benefits and contributions.

Our Trusts and Estates Practice involves the creation and drafting of wills, simple wills, health care proxies, living wills, trusts and estate planning.

Our School law practice began with our office representing numerous charter schools in regards to all legal matters. We now represent charter schools in matters of charter school administration, student discipline and special education.

The firm has pioneered the law in many areas in which people lacked the resources to fight for their rights. We prosecuted a class action against the State of Massachusetts to secure reimbursements for Special education expenses incurred by public charter schools for the benefit of disadvantaged students. The Firm has pressed class and collective actions to recover unpaid vacation time and overtime wages on behalf of employees who were denied their rightful wages. These and other efforts demonstrate the Firm's Continuing Commitment to their single and worthy goal of giving voice to those who otherwise would have none.
